Over the last four years of working with Epic I have seen the Lord work in truly awe-inspiring ways. I have seen students embrace the truths of the gospel and follow Jesus for the first time. I have had the privilege of walking with students, learning and growing alongside them. More than anything, I have had the wonderful blessing to witness firsthand what the Lord is doing through this ministry at Cal Poly Pomona. Nothing has brought me greater joy than witnessing the Lord transform the lives of students as they step into deeper relationship with Him.
I am extremely grateful and blessed by all of you who have partnered with me along the way, through both prayer and the generous giving of your finances. I cannot put into words how truly thankful I am.
After much contemplation, prayer, and counsel from my community, I have decided to resign from my part-time position with Epic. Especially this past year, after getting married, increasing my course-load, and as my role at church has grown, my capacity to faithfully and responsibly steward what God has given me has been stretched thin. I ultimately concluded to pursue pastoral ministry, committing my time fully to my studies at seminary and my position at church. Honestly, I am sad to step away from this ministry that has been such a huge part of my life for the last 8 years. It is where I truly gave my life to Christ, was led to pursue vocational ministry, and met lifelong friends(including Jessica!) This decision was not an easy one and was not my initial plan when I first started with Epic; however, I am excited for what the Lord has in store for this ministry as well as for my future apart from it.
